Former students and mentees

I have done a lot of teaching over the years: at the University of Sheffield, at Robinson College, Cambridge, at The Open University, at the Medical School of University of Crete, and as a mentor and supervisor to individuals at various institutions. In recent years much of this teaching has been unpaid, or—to use a fancier term—pro bono. I do it because I enjoy it and because I believe that teaching is a way of making a positive difference in the world.

This page is a record of that work—not a list of courses and syllabi (that’s on my CV), but something more personal. Below are contributions from former students and mentees, describing when and where they studied with me, what they got out of it, and what they are doing now.
